PRIVACY POLICY under the GDPR
This notice describes how Landhaus Jausern GmbH, hereinafter referred to as “we”, processes your personal data (collects, records, organises, structures, stores, etc.). We use the information you provide to us with your consent in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation when we wish to answer your enquiries, ask you questions, or contact you about updates regarding our company. The data you provide to us will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. Providing your data is always voluntary. Your consent can be revoked at any time without giving reasons (see “Rights of the data subject”).
Personal Data: In accordance with our obligation to inform (Art. 13 and 14 GDPR), we hereby inform you that we collect the following personal data from you to process our services: your master data (surname, first name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, customer number) as well as language and vehicle registration number. Furthermore, your travel documents (passport number, passport details, date of birth, issuing authority, expiry date, nationality) and one form of ID (e.g. national identity card, driving licence, etc., including issuing authority and expiry date) are required. For further processing, details regarding your preferred payment method and, in connection with payments (in particular debit cards, credit cards, and bank cards), the corresponding bank details are also collected. Additionally, personal preferences may be requested. In individual cases, special categories of personal data—namely health data, information regarding special needs, as well as information about marriage or partnership—may be requested. The processing of special categories of personal data is always carried out on the basis of Art. 9(2) GDPR.
Legal Basis for Processing and Storage The legal basis for processing your data is the consent granted by you. We may also be obliged to store your data due to pre-contractual or contractual obligations as well as statutory provisions (including tax law obligations, registration regulations, etc.). Furthermore, by providing your data by post, fax, email, telephone, or any other method of transmission, you agree that we may contact you and process your data as set out here to answer your enquiries, ask you questions, or contact you for promotional purposes about updates regarding our company, new or different products, offers, or events. You agree that we may do so by telephone, fax, or electronic mail (email). By entering personal data into one of our contact forms, consent is given for the duration of handling this specific enquiry as well as for storage and processing by us. This applies in particular to enquiries made via contact form, chat, and email. We require this data to process enquiries and, in these cases, also store your IP address for evidence-preservation purposes. Data is stored for as long as necessary to handle the request as well as for any additional or follow-up questions.
Purpose of Data Processing and Disclosure to Third Parties: This data is primarily required and processed to book your stay, handle the entire contractual relationship, manage customer accounts, and for insurance purposes, vouchers, billing, and auditing. Any transfer of your personal data to third parties (e.g. to public authorities, tax advisors, accountants, etc.) is therefore based on the consent you have provided, where necessary for contract performance, or where the disclosure serves to fulfil a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(a)–(c) GDPR).
Storage Duration: The storage duration is determined by the duration of the contractual relationship as well as the consent provided. In addition, data processing may be justified on the basis of statutory (retention) obligations.
Rights of the Data Subject: You may at any time request information free of charge regarding your personal data stored by us. You have the right to confidentiality, information, objection, access, erasure, rectification, restriction, and portability of your personal data. You may revoke any data protection consent granted to us at any time without giving reasons. Revocation does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point. A revocation means that we will no longer process your data for the above-mentioned purposes from that moment on. To revoke consent or for further information regarding your rights as a data subject, please contact us: Carolin Fresacher / haus@jausern.com.

Google Analytics: Our website uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”) to analyse internet activity. Cookies are also used for this purpose: as explained, these are files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. During your visit to our website, the following data is primarily stored: pages viewed, bookings made, contact enquiries, newsletter sign-ups, your approximate location (country and city), your IP address in shortened form, technical information regarding browser, internet provider, device, and screen resolution, and the source of your visit (via which website you reached us). This information about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years from your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated User ID, which enables you to be recognised during future website visits. The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated User ID, enabling the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. As mentioned, you can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. Furthermore, you can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found in the Google Analytics terms or in the Google Analytics overview. Please note that on this website, Google Analytics has been extended by the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).
